After teaching architectural history and design, Elizabeth Gittings created the Moroccan Luxury Suites, a Boston, Massachusetts Bed and Breakfast. Inspired by many years of travel to dozens of countries, and stays in some of the finest and most unique hotels in the world, she is an consummate host. Her passion for guest satisfaction and international design are expressed in the stunning look of the Moroccan Suites Boston and its standard of excellence. What Elizabeth enjoys most about the bed and breakfast experience is meeting guests from all around the world and sharing stories; also sharing the beauty and arts she has encountered in her travels in the finely decorated interiors of the inn. Elizabeth travels to explore boutique and innovative hotel properties around the world every year.
Innkeeper Bill Ferry is devoted to maintaining the physical integrity of our historic 18th-century inn, with his skills in construction and building repair. He is also an avid gardener and outdoorsman, who designs and plants our delightful courtyard and rooftop gardens every year. A Pennsylvania native, Bill enjoys hiking, photography, and cooking when he is away from the inn.
Margaret McInnes has joined the Moroccan Suites Boston as Inn Manager. A Boston native, she brings many years of experience in the hospitality business to maintain high standards at our bed and breakfast. A people person who doubles as our unofficial concierge, Margaret is always glad to share her insider's knowledge of Boston and New England. She enjoys combining her personal and professional interests; when she is away from the inn, she is often trying new restaurants or attending sporting events, and enjoys share her experiences with guests.
Originally from Cape Verde, West Africa, Nina Gertrudis is our excellent and personable housekeeper of long-standing. Her loyalty and attention to detail are of the highest level. When Nina is not at the inn, she enjoys attending church and volunteering in the community, as well as spending time with her family in Boston and abroad.
